Enchanted Glass
I am interested in finding mirrors in literary works. Looking for reflections of characters and events in a story is one of the ways I read novels. In Enchanted Glass by Diana Wynne Jones, I enjoyed discovering different kinds of mirrors. Enchanted Glass tells a story in which two orphans meet and get a new home, a new family, and a new life. It sounds simple, but it is not. Jocelyn Brandon, a magician, died without passing down —in person— his possessions and position as an occultist to his grandson, Andrew Brandon Hope.
